Comic & Prose Editing
I love to make good creative projects even better. I’ll listen to you, understand your goals, and give you the feedback you need to reach them. My specialties are in story and developmental editing for humor, action-adventure, and romance. I’ll make your jokes, your heroes, and your heartbreaks all hit a little bit harder. Contact me for rates and more info.
Tea is my go-to editor when I have a joke, but it’s just not there yet. Tea has that rare ability to look under the hood of a cartoon and tinker. I depend on her thoughtful and funny suggestions. It always gets me unstuck!

Tea has an amazing eye for what a story needs in order to connect with its audience. She knows effective writing isn’t just content in a void, it’s a conversation with a reader. Whether dimensionalizing characters or shoring up structure, Tea makes sure you have that human element that gives a project a pulse.

Tea Fougner is a meticulous, thoughtful collaborator. She’s excellent at communication in all capacities, and as my co-editor for RAW, she managed both outward-facing content— such as marketing copy and other consumer messaging— and inward-facing organization— such as coordinating with a large group of contributors on scheduling and submissions— with ease. Her ability to seamlessly juggle the many different types of promotional and business writing required for the promotion & management of RAW was invaluable, and I attribute the project’s success to having had her on the team.
